Pay: $16 for AM Shifts & $17 for PM Shifts
Position SummaryCorrugate Technician moves empty pallets on and off transportation vehicles that arrive at the assigned worksite. Runs compactor to process packing materials. Ensures an excellent and safe experience for our customers and the corresponding crew members. Performs responsibilities as a member of the crew tasked with maintaining a safe, clean, efficient, and positive work environment in their assigned areas. This role typically provides support in a fast-paced complex operational environment exceeding a million square feet. Effectively communicates with customers and team members to ensure efficient and safe performance of duties. Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesGeneral duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following (varies by customer):
Wednesday-Saturday or Sunday-Wednesday
Shifts $16/hour: 6am-5pm or 7am-6pm
Shifts $17/hour: 6pm-5am or 7pm-6am

Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesGeneral duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following (varies by customer):
- Perform all duties in accordance with company Quality, Service, & Safety Standards
- Operate forklift or other hand truck
- Move goods packed on pallets or in crates around the storage facility
- Stack goods in the correct storage bays, following inventory control instructions
- Ensure that loads are secure
- Stack empty pallets
- Pick up cardboard, plastics and other items or debris; load and remove to stacking area or debris bin(s) or other designated location
- Operate compactor to compress and combine recyclable and/or waste materials
- Provide support to the janitorial crew when needed
- Clean building floor surfaces by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming
- Gather and empty trash
- Clean totes
- Motorized equipment (including compactors, scrubbers etc. Any ride ons for janitorial)
- Familiar with 29 CFR (OSHA) requirements for safe loading & unloading of trailers
- Proper application of janitorial and floor maintenance methods and related safe handling of cleaning liquids, machinery and tools
- Understands and adheres to excellent customer service standards
- Ability to operate and use various janitorial tools, equipment, and supplies adhering to and following training and related instruction
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write and complete routine reports (access online or fill in forms); may include providing incident summaries or other observed maintenance issues
- Ability to communicate (in English) effectively with customers
- Bilingual Spanish and English a plus Competencies:

- 1-3 years' experience as forklift operator
- General janitorial experience preferred
- Valid certification to operate forklifts and must be able satisfactorily pass company PIT (Performance Industrial Trucks) Training
- Must successfully pass background check and may be required to pass a drug test depending on the location being serviced; in healthcare settings, drug test is required
- High school diploma preferred
