We are committed to finding and placing the best hospitality talent in the industry!   Named Best of Staffing by our clients for 2019 let us help you find your next opportunity!   HSS  is currently recruiting for a Food Services Manager  for an upscale apartment complex in the Newnan, GA area.   PAY DOE   JOB Description: Plans, organizes, develops, and directs the overall operation of the Food Services Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local regulations governing our nursing center, and as may be directed by the Administrator, so that nutritional food services are provided on a daily basis and that the Food Services Department is maintained in a clean, safe, and sanitary manner   Attendance Requirements: Non-exempt Status- May be required to work beyond normal working hours and on weekends and holidays when necessary.  Subject to callback during any emergency.    Physical Activity Requirements: Primary Physical Requirements:  Must be able to perform all tasks at hand without any physcial restraints. This includes (but not limited to) lifting, pulling, pushing, and heavy use of all limbs.   Cognitive and Sensory Requirements:

Talking- Necessary for communicating with others.

Hearing- Necessary for taking instructions from others.

Sight- Necessary for doing job effectively and correctly.

Tasting & Smelling- Necessary for tasting quality of food products.   Licensure/Certification/Education Requirements: A minimum of a H.S. Diploma or its equivalent required. Must possess a valid food safety certification. 
Other Training, Skills, and Experience Requirements: Two- (2) year(s) experience in healthcare or institutional food service, in a supervisory capacity. Should have training in cost control, food management, diet therapy, etc.

Specific Requirements: Should become a Certified Dietary Manager through completion of both a Dietary Managers Training Course and Certification Exam within five (5) years of employment.

Equipment Used: Standard kitchen equipment, e.G., meat slicer, food processor, blender
