Food Services Manager

Talking- Necessary for communicating with others.
Hearing- Necessary for taking instructions from others.
Sight- Necessary for doing job effectively and correctly.
Tasting & Smelling- Necessary for tasting quality of food products. Licensure/Certification/Education Requirements: A minimum of a H.S. Diploma or its equivalent required. Must possess a valid food safety certification.
Other Training, Skills, and Experience Requirements: Two- (2) year(s) experience in healthcare or institutional food service, in a supervisory capacity. Should have training in cost control, food management, diet therapy, etc.
Specific Requirements: Should become a Certified Dietary Manager through completion of both a Dietary Managers Training Course and Certification Exam within five (5) years of employment.
Equipment Used: Standard kitchen equipment, e.G., meat slicer, food processor, blender
