This General Manager will be overseeing multiple outlets including: retail operations, maintenance, administration, food & beverage, hotel/lodging, employee housing and guest services. Responsibilities:
This General Manager will be overseeing multiple outlets including: retail operations, maintenance, administration, food & beverage, hotel/lodging, employee housing and guest services. Responsibilities:
- Responsible for overseeing all aspects of the operation including financial performance, product quality, guest satisfaction, environmental performance, safety, and employee development processes.
- Executes Company-wide strategies and tactics to ensure continued improvement in quality, service, safety, environmental and financial performance.
- Trains, develops and mentors departmental managers to ensure:
- They are adequately prepared to lead and develop their respective teams, and
- They are adept at identifying operational challenges and are prepared to make recommendations that improve the quality, service and financial performance of their departments.
- Responsible for identifying and addressing operational challenges while working and communicating with corporate leaders to ensure the consistent delivery of excellent products and the highest level of employee and guest satisfaction
- Provides input and implements long and short-range financial objectives to meet profitability goals and other key performance metrics.
- Prepares timely financial reports for senior management that clearly explain operational effectiveness, trends and forecasts
- Analyze reports to identify areas for improvement and actions to be taken
- Make recommendations to senior management for implementation of corrective actions.
- Provides input and executes marketing and sales strategies that support the Company' s objectives.
- Ensures compliance with applicable Site contract requirements by implementing the Company' s policies, procedures, programs and processes while ensuring employees are fully trained and adhering to such on an ongoing basis
- Acts as a liaison between Senior Management and the Site in all administrative and operational matters
- Establishes and maintains a proactive human resource function to ensure effective employee recruitment, hiring, training and development, wage and benefits administration, and compliance with established labor regulations.
- Enforces the company' s housing policies that address the safety and security of employees while adhering to contractual expectations. Creates an environment that emphasizes health and wellness for all employees
- Ensures adherence to company safety practices and acts as the Responsible Safety Officer (RSO) for the benefit of employees and guests. This includes oversight of proper risk management, emergency and security procedures.
- Maintains compliance with all Federal, State and local regulations (such as, but not restricted to, all Environmental, Safety, Health, Liquor, Tax and Company Housing Policies)
- Responsible for ensuring adherence to Company policies, procedures, and processes for all accounting functions and cash handling
- Upholds ISO 9001 (Quality) and 14001 (Environmental) standards by providing management support, following the management system (all policies and procedures) and actively participating in both External and Internal Audits
- Establishes and maintains applicable asset management programs and procedures for company property located within the operation
- Maintains an appropriate level of community public affairs involvement as required
- Be self-motivated with the ability to perform with the highest professional and ethical standards
- Must respond well to a changing work environment and is able to perform at the highest level with minimal direction
- Possess strong leadership and managerial skills that include the ability to coach, develop and clearly communicate expectations
- Have excellent analytical and problem resolution skills with the ability to proactively recommend solutions
- Must have financial background with the proven ability to identify opportunities for revenue enhancement and fiscal management
- Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills
- Intermediate computer skills with Microsoft Office and familiarity with POS system functionality
- Bachelor' s degree from accredited college or university in hospitality management, business administration or related field
- Minimum 5-7 years Hotel/Resort management experience
